Who we are

Our website address is: https://ConfessionSession.com and our site utilizes the technology of Open AI’s ChatGPT4 and/or its successor.

Comments

If visitors choose to interact on our site, we may collect the data shown in the form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.  As do most Webmasters, we use Google Analytics so that we can optimize ad campaigns and see what traffic sources work best.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.

Cookies

If you choose to leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies may last for up to one year.

If you choose to edit or publish an article, an additional cookie may be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It typically expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. replies, videos, images, articles, etc.) including that originated from OpenAI. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.  We have no control over third party sites or their respective privacy policies.

How long we retain your data

If you choose to leave a comment or confession, its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up submissions automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that choose to interact with our website, we also may store any personal information provided. Website administrators may see that information and other users may have the later ability to see submitted data, less personally identifiable details.

Where your data may be sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.  Our hosting is based in the United States.  Additionally, we may utilize a CDN (Content Delivery Network) and firewall services that may be located throughout the globe.
